As longtime customers of Duncklee (split system in prior home - very pleased), even we were surprised by how well this is being handled. Needed replacement was ordered ahead of my signing contract, paying deposit, and was expedited in order to get the equipment in time, rescuing us from having four little kids and their parents exposed to extremely hot summer weather/humidity.
The project was completed in two days and went perfectly. (They anticipated this, so started four days before our family's arrival). An earlier technician, TC, had speced well, helping the company find a system that fit into a very tight space. The installation team, headed by Justin, was remarkably respectful of our home and two resident cats who sought to be "helpful", but weren't. They checked to make sure everything worked and was clean before leaving, even adding that if anything does go awry, don't hesitate to call. Whole team was pleasant as well.

The team is extremely kind, helpful and professional. They were able to fix our A/C unit fast and efficiently. I definitely plan to use them again with any more heating or cooling issues I have in the future.

The install team of Oscar and Fernando were excellent as well. They made quick work of the job, communicating what was happening, and were always on time and schedule.
The whole team was professional and the job was done efficiently. I’m very happy with my new ductless system! Would definitely recommend.
Edit 11/4/22: Unfortunately I must update this review. The brief summary is that I made the wrong choice going with a Hyper-Heat system. I should have chosen a more basic system that did not require a branch box, and just continued to use the wood stove when it got really cold. Anyway, the full story is the system was installed on January of 2020. In December of 2020 I noticed a leak coming from the branch box. Duncklee diagnosed it as an issue with one of their connections to the branch box and fixed the problem at no cost to me. Roughly 20 months later, the system wasnn't cooling well during heat waves and I noticed a leak from the branch box again, similar to the first. This time Duncklee determines that there was an internal failure in the branch box itself. The branch box was covered under warranty, but the labor to remove/install it was not. I knew this was going to be a cost to me, so was not surprised. I was, however, surprised that all 20 pounds of coolant had to be replaced. That came to roughly $1,650! When the system was brought back online, the tech did a quick check to make sure it was working. We both took IR temp readings of the interior unit coils, and both got readings between 55 and 60 degrees. He said that was fine, even though I couldn't see how that could possibly cool effectively. But I'm not a HVAC tech, so I took him at his word. So the first warranty repair came to $3,150... About 4 weeks later the system isn't working well again, so they send out a different tech to diagnose. He determines that the compressor has failed. Part of his determination came from him getting readings of the coils operating between 55 and 60 degrees. He says they should be 35-40 degrees... So he puts in an order to replace the compressor. The following week they tell me that the compressor won't be in until mid-November at earliest. Not a big deal because things have cooled off for the season. Get a call today telling me that the compressor won't ship from the factory until late December, meaning I'll be lucky to have the system operating by late January. This warranty repair will cost me $850 in labor and most likely another $1650 in coolant. Meanwhile I now have to acquire a woodstove and about 3 cords of wood to heat my home from now until then. So that's another cost I'm taking on because of this system. So in summary, other than the first tech giving me incorrect info about coil temp operating ranges, Duncklee has been very good to deal with. It's the Hyper-heat system and it's branch box that I can't warn people enough about. When they work, they are great. But when they fail, the costs will eat up years of savings that this system has over other systems. I will have put more than $5,500 into warranty repairs when this is done. That will take 7 to 10 YEARS to recover in heating cost savings, assuming there are no further failures during that time.
